We did it to our own platform first — read how we moved our own platform, with five national brands on it. The old platform is not shut off until you decide it is; there is no leap-of-faith moment.

Assessment
We look at your app together: what it does, what's exportable, what has to be rebuilt, and what the move costs. Free, and useful even if you stay put.

Rebuild & port
Your app is reconstructed on an open stack — your code in a git repository, your data modelled in Postgres. Users and content come across intact.

The new build runs on our infrastructure at a staging address while the original keeps serving. We verify feature parity against the live app, and so do you.

08 · Straight answers
What people ask before they move
Do I have to rebuild my app from scratch?
Usually partially. Captive platforms rarely hand you portable code, so the assessment sorts your app into what exports cleanly, what we rebuild, and what was only ever platform glue. You see that split — and the cost of it — before anything starts.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes. Your domain moves to our datacenter at the end, with zero downtime — the new build is already live at a staging address and proven against the original before DNS changes.
Why flat monthly instead of hourly billing?
Your app runs 24/7. Hourly rates are the same monthly bill with extra maths and surprise variance attached — one flat number, capped, every month is easier to plan around and easier to check.
Can I add storage to my plan?
Yes: $10/mo per 25 GB on any app hosting or VPS tier, added any time. Upgrades between tiers are prorated to the day and take effect immediately.
Do you host WordPress?
Yes — it's most of what our web hosting runs. Plesk-based hosting from $39/mo, self-managed or fully handled, on servers we own in Corvallis.
Can I manage my own hosting?
Yes — every customer gets a Plesk login with full account access. Most of our local-business customers have us manage everything, but the access is always yours: log in anytime, see everything, change anything.
How much traffic can you handle?
Our racks served 24M+ visits in the last 30 days; individual stores we host exceed a million unique visitors a year.
Can I visit the datacenter?
By arrangement, yes. Our facility is in Corvallis, a few blocks from our office — but there's no public lobby, so it isn't somewhere to drop in, and we don't publish its address. Colocation clients get the location and site access as part of onboarding. If you'd like to see where your site would run before you commit, write to us and we'll arrange a visit.
Where do backups go?
Nightly, encrypted, off-site — they leave the building, not the state. Audited weekly.
Where does my data actually live?
In your own Postgres database, on our hardware in Corvallis, Oregon. Nightly encrypted backups leave the building. You can query it, export it, or — if it matters to you — arrange a visit and see the rack it runs on.
What if something breaks after the move?
The old platform stays on standby until you decommission it, so there is a fallback for as long as you want one. After that, releases are health-checked with rollback — a failing build doesn't go live — and support comes from the engineer who moved your app.
What does a migration cost?
The assessment is free. Migrations are quoted from the assessment — most land between $1,500 and $10,000 depending on how much has to be rebuilt — and hosting afterwards starts at $49/mo, sized to your app. What you stop paying the platform usually covers a good part of it.
